OXYGEN TANK RENTAL & REFILL FAQ
Oxygen Tank Rental and Refill Questions
Is OxyHub oxygen KKM and MDA approved?
Yes. OxyHub is operated by Ibnu Sina Care Sdn. Bhd., a supplier registered with the Ministry of Health (KKM) and the Medical Device Authority (MDA) Malaysia. Every tank leaves our facility with its certification paperwork, which is what a hospital or care home will ask to see.
How much does oxygen tank rental cost in Malaysia?
Oxygen tank rental starts at RM90 a month for a 10L tank, delivered. Refills start at RM90 a tank, and oxygen machine rental is RM250 a month. The Save Combo Package bundles the machine with a free oximeter at RM320 a month, and the price you are quoted on WhatsApp is the price you pay.
How long does an oxygen tank refill take?
In the Klang Valley we usually swap your empty tank for a full one on the same visit, so there is no waiting. Outside the Klang Valley the swap runs on a scheduled route, normally within 24 to 48 hours of your message. Tell us your usual refill day and we will keep the slot for you.
Which areas do you deliver oxygen tanks to?
We deliver across all 14 regions of Malaysia, from the Klang Valley down to Johor, up to Perlis and across to Sabah and Sarawak. Klang Valley orders placed before 3pm go out the same day. Peninsular routes outside the Klang Valley are usually next day, and East Malaysia is scheduled with you before dispatch.
Is there a deposit or a minimum contract?
There is a refundable deposit on the cylinder itself, returned in full when the tank comes back undamaged. Rental runs month to month with no lock-in, so you can stop, downsize or switch to an oxygen machine whenever it suits you. Ask on WhatsApp for the current deposit before you order.
Should I rent an oxygen tank or an oxygen machine?
It is a cost and logistics question, not a medical one. A tank suits short-term or backup use and costs RM90 a month plus refills, while the Oxi Home Machine 5L runs from mains power at RM250 a month with nothing to refill. Many families keep both — the machine for daily use and one tank as backup during a power cut.
Can I refill an oxygen tank I already own?
Yes, as long as the cylinder is in date and passes our inspection at collection. Refills start at RM90 a tank and we collect the empty and return it full on our next route to you. Send a photo of the cylinder label on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price before we collect.
What if I need an oxygen refill at night or on a public holiday?
Our WhatsApp line is answered 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays. Urgent Klang Valley swaps can usually be arranged the same night; elsewhere we will give you the earliest realistic slot rather than a promise we cannot keep.
